1. Purpose of the Call

At Lítore Quartet, we are committed to premiering a piece by a contemporary composer each year. So far, we have premiered works by composers such as Eduardo Soutullo, Salvador Brotons, Brais González, and Mauricio Sotelo. We have realized that there has not yet been an opportunity to collaborate with a Spanish female composer, and we believe it is also our responsibility to seek this commission and give a voice to current female artists. For this reason, we are opening this call with the aim of finding a composer and moving closer to our goal of promoting sustainable and equal projects.
